Hello, my name is Chandler A. Maples. I am currently attending Michigan State University for business, eventually leading into supply chain management. I'm in business because I know I will do well and succeed in this line of work. Not solely because I have the skill set to do well in this field, but also because supply chain management is something that will interest me for years to come. I'm from a family of 3. My mother, my brother, and myself. I grew up in a very culturally diverse environment, which is why supply chain, and business in general is ideal for me. I can relate to a very diverse group of people, and as my interpersonal skills grow, so will my effectiveness in business. My hobbies include hangin' with the buds, playing video games, working out, listening to music of every genre, researching random things on the internet, and going out.
My name is Colin Bergman. I’ve lived in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, my whole life. Sports have consumed a big part of my life so far. I am most known for playing hockey, but I also play tennis, golf, and basketball for fun. I am a freshman at Michigan State University. Currently, I am undecided about my major, but I am leaning towards a degree in a business field. More specifically, I am thinking about an economics or finance degree. I chose business because the field is always expanding with new companies and ideas. There will always be a demand for people with business degrees as long as there’s new companies starting and growing. As someone with an undecided major at the moment, I want to explore the field of business and find the particular topic to pursue.
My name is Katie Howard, although my friends call me Kath. I was born in Marshall, MI. Recently, in fact just this summer, I moved to Royal Oak, MI. I have played soccer since I was 5 years old, other than that, my life has been relatively stagnant. I attend Michigan State University, and I am currently a freshman. My major is No Preference; however, I am currently enrolled in an Accounting class to give me a feel of the profession. I have a few accountants in my immediate family, and I really enjoy math so I am hoping that accounting will click and be my calling! On the other side of the spectrum, I pondered the idea of becoming a criminal profiler (I got the idea from Criminal Minds, because I am in love with that show) unfortunately, I think it is a far-fetched dream for me. I am excited to see the places I will go and opportunities I will take advantage of here at MSU to find my calling.
I'm Carson Breault, I am from Hartland Michigan and am currently a freshman at Michigan State University. I enjoy playing or watching pretty much every sport and am a fantasy football guru. I enjoy the business field and plan on majoring in something involving business. My goal is to make enough money during my career that I can live comfortably and retire at age 50. I have done a lot of traveling over the past 4 years. Some of the countries my travels have taken me to include; Germany, Italy, France, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Mexico, and Brazil. I have attained valuable world experience and have changed my perspective on many things by seeing new things and meeting people from different cultures. I plan on making the most of my time here at MSU. I hope I make connections and meet people that will last a lifetime.
