Supply chain analysts and managers conduct organizational and analytical operations to improve the efficiency and speed of the manufacturing process. People within this line of work, will deeply analyze how much products will cost, how much of whatever required product is needed, and where they need to be distributed to. This makes them incredibly influential in the business sector. Monitoring and managing inventory of a company mass producing a product takes expert level analytical skills. Supply chain management is an umbrella, and underneath this are specialized fields such as logistics. There seems to be a pretty long list of tools that supply chain analysts use. When managing for certain company's or certain areas of the job, do the wide range of tools become more specific and if so in what way?
